I'm Harry Manion and this is my website.
So as to be energy and bandwidth efficient, this website uses colour, low-resolution JPEG photos. I have experimented with dithering but this serves to increase the size of files whilst decreasing the detail present. Black and white photos saved a hundred or so kilobyes of memory/bandwidth but in some cases doubled the size of a file, whilst presenting less information for the viewer.
I like to travel, cook, and fiddle with my bike.
